Wheel spacer

I need just a little space to get my tire off the UCA so I tried washers. Unfortunately, in the area where the lug nuts go through it is recessed on the inside of the wheel. Even two washers would just bring the recess up flush with the rest of the wheel. (Pic)

Three washers might give me the space I want but the result would be the wheel would ride on the washers instead of the rotor where it belongs.

Has anyone solved a

You can get thin wheel spacers like , but the issue with those is effectively the same as you mentioned, where it moves the weight of the vehicle off the hub, onto the wheel lugs. If you're using spacers, ideally you want hub-centric spacers that maintain the mating surfaces, both inner and outer.

Those look like they will sit flat on the hub and not put he weight on the lugs... I hope so, because I am getting a set.
I will see if one spacer will get the tire off the control arm, if not, I will try two.
