Where can you view Chilton's manuals for free?
Anyone know where can you view Chilton's manuals for free?

I'm not being a wise guy, the library. Some libraries systems have them on-line. Not a big fan of the Chilton's but sometimes some info is better then no info. You will need to go to your local library and get a card that will give you a key to there on line system.
I don't know were you live but my system has a on line auto section with repair manuals. |
Spittybays is right on! Chilton & Haynes are fine if you need to learn how to change oil & filter. Better consult the owners manual for capacity though. Anything more than an oil change, get the factory service manual, you won't regret it.

I agree with above posts..
I bought these 2 on ebay for a great price. https://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1357609902 Way more information and well worth having. |
My library has access to Chilton's through their website so I can look things up at home as long as I have my library card number and PIN. At the branch I can access Mitchell's OnDemand which is almost as good as the factory shop manual.
For convenience I purchased a set of factory manuals for each vehicle I own on eBay. I got my 1984 Buick shop manual for $20 from a local seller on eBay. The S/T truck manuals can be had for $75-90. If you do a lot of fixing on your truck it may well be worth it to buy a good set of factory manuals. |
