Question Where's the PRNDL?

Good morning, folks! I have rifled through the interwebs and can't come up with a good answer to my problem... hoping you all can help!
I have recently acquired a 1996 4x4 Blazer and for as long as I have had it, I can't figure out why this thing doesn't have a PRNDL on the cluster. My odometer and trip tracker are both analog and all LED lights seem to work fine on the panel.
So I want to know does this cluster have a PRNDL? What should it look like? Is it "missing" because a bulb is burnt out... and if so, what kind of bulb goes in it?

Here is what my instrument cluster looks just like (photo from eBay):

I also had a thought that if this panel does NOT have a PRNDL, is there an "upgrade" that anyone might suggest? Cause if I need to find a panel with a PRNDL then I'd love to have a tachometer, too. My only concern with a swap would be getting one with an odometer with close mileage.

Any and all help with this would be appreciated. THANKS!

-Bob

The only thing I can think of is that the dash is meant for a manual transmission or floor shifted automatic transmission equiped truck. The 1996 owners manual shows the PRNDL in both of its dash illustrations in the typical location, just under the odometer. If it were there, the screen printing for the positions (P, R, N, OD, D, 2, 1) should be there in white letters/symbols like the image below:

Thank you for this reply... Having never driven a manual before, I didn't give it a thought it could have come out of a MT truck.
The seller I bought it from did say he replaced "the whole dash" pieces himself. I just thought he meant trim

I guess there's not much hope in knowing truly how many miles this Blazer has on it, is there? Aside from CarFax reports and such, perhaps...

IIRC my 95 has PRNDL as part of the steering column, it looks like that IP assembly (lower picture) has indicator lights below each letter to show which "gear" is selected. ITs IP looks like the top picture.
Probably a later model year IP assy?

Can confirm center console shifter on mine and no gear indicator on dash. Always disliked lack of this feature. My father's Envoy has automatic floor shifter and digital gear indicator on cluster. I use to have a column shift s10 and it had a dash cluster with the gear indicator.
