Wipers Wipers Wipers

Amazing,

I got 1 '97 LT Blazer with wiper issues.
I got 1 '84 K5 Blazer with wiper issues.

Ive read about the resoldering of the circut board, but i dont think my symptoms matches what would be a bad circut board....

The '97 wipers works sometimes and sometimes not. I can be driving in heavy rain with wipers fully working and the next moment they shut off. I can hear a noise coming from the wiper motor when i turn the lever to diffrent wiper speeds but thats it. After a while it starts working again.

On the '84 K5 I have almost the same issues. I can be driving, and it just shuts off. Mostly it works if i shut the engine down an restart it.

Holy crap i cant beleive i have the same f**** problem on both of my blazers, I really hate rain !!!!

raaaaawr whats up with these wipermotors ????

Your symptoms match pretty well in my opinion. Open the motors up and see what's going on in side. Worst case scenario, you spent a bit of time...

Might want to check the grounds under the dashboard. I had wipers fail once because the ground wire got loose.
