Wiring Diagram for Trailer Wiring Harness?
 

I bought one of those kits to hook up a wiring harness for my truck so I can have working brake lights on my trailer, are there any guides or diagrams for wiring these up? I assume I just tap into the brake light wiring but I have no clue where to start.

I searched around on here but I couldn't find anything so I apologize if I missed the thread/guide/article.

I use shrink tubes for wiring usually I don't like the slice lock either. Thanks for the instructions.

I don't have a test light, do you know what color wires are what? And my harness kit colors don't match up to that guide either so I might have to play the guessing game.

You can get a test light at walmart for around $3, even the crappy one I have has helped me out on more that one occasion.

I didn't realize they were so cheap, I am heading to walmart later this morning to grab one.
