wont start at all
i have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter in the last six months to solve the same problem i am having now.
a few weeks ago, my 97 blazer began having troubles starting. turn the key and the starter engaged but the engine would not turn over. come back to it a few minutes later and it would start right up. now, it wont start at all. again, the starter is doing its job but the engine just wont turn over. i've been told it could be the fuel pump again but i can hear it working. ive been told it could be the distributor cap, or the o2 sensor. any other suggestions from you veteran blazer owners? i really would like to be able to drive again.

Have you done a fuel pressure test? If so, post up the results here. Just because the pump is running doesn't completely rule it out. It has to be making enough pressure to fire the injector off. Also, what brand pump did you buy? Sometimes cheaper brands can go out in six months or so.
Also, you could have a problem with the regulator and spider in the intake manifold. Do a pressure test, and we can better help you.

You need to hook up a fuel pressure tester to the test port just behind the throttle body. Pressure needs to be 60-66 psi with the key on engine off. Pressure must remain above 55 psi after the pump shuts off.

If you don't mind replacing fuel pumps often, lol.
