won't start/ gremlins
 

Got the "i'm stranded" call, (2001 4.3 4 x 4) will turn over strong but not start. This is what she told me:

Going around 30 and went to accelerate and got nothing. Pulled over and turned it off and wouldn't start back. Said day before acting up and felt "heavy" kinda like when transmission went out. The fuel guage does not move at all, was doing that the day before while she was driving. The fuel pump, with sending unit on it, was replaced around 45 days ago. Also indicator lights for the gears doesn't work. She thinks the fuel gauge and gear indicator lights stopped working at the same time. And a relative told her they saw her headlights "flicker" same day all this happened. This all happened in about a 12 hour period.

Transmission was just rebuilt a couple of days before all this happened.
