Wrong lower intake gasket??

I am installing reworked heads on my 95 Blazer 4.3. The Haynes manual says the blocked off end of the gasket goes to the rear. However, the new head gasket set from FelPro does not have either end of the manifold gasket blocked. Does this matter?

The correct Felpro part number is 95832 for the lower intake. If that's what you have, go with it. Haynes and Chilton are just about worthless. Half of the information you need isn't even in the manual, the other half is unreliable. If you want a manual, get a GM factory shop manual ;)

Even those sources that start with shop manuals leave a lot to be desired {talking about YOU, Alldata!!!} but Chilton {the WORST} and even Haynes suck big time.
In the 70/80's you'd buy a model specific book and find out that more than half was filled with engine rebuild stuff {usually NOTHING on transmissions} and had little or no electrical or body mechanism stuff. Like door hinges and window repair.
A great example is one of the BEST Chiltons is the one for TBirds.. but it covers both the Fox and MN12 platforms and there's no freaking reason for that. They are more different than similar, Especially the chassis/suspension. Not ONE damn thing interchanges!
