Well I bought one very much like yours, and thought it just had electrical problems. Turns out it needed a motor. So I could either try to sell it for close the the $1000 I paid for it, or bite the bullet and put a reman engine in, which I did. Cost me almost $5500 time all was said and done, but that is with new everything, belts, hoses, antifreeze, etc. Even recharged the A/C. On top of that I have a 5 year unlimited warranty on miles. It can also be transferred. So I am just going to enjoy it and have some peace of mind. I just got my 2014 Malibu from the dealer that has 60,000 miles on it and the bill was $1500. Nothing works anymore. Overall it's in very good condition. The interior is intact and very little body damage, just a pushed in place on the RF fender. Runs great now and would take it anywhere.
