the seats in the last picture have since settled and are in their correct location so they don't look lopsided. and... all the panels have since closed up any and all gaps seen in the photos.

next will be building the sub box for my truck and hopefully his.. my brother's surgery is tomorrow. i pick up mom from the airport at 10 with my niece and we sit at his house until he comes home all black and blue...
i'll also show my false floor build if i get the time here to build it, if not... at home. i honestly can't wait to get back to michigan and enjoy my last week of summer with the woodward dream cruise.. search woodward dream cruise to find out why

sounds like you've had a busy week there Mack.
luv those JL amps. how much depth was needed (in total) for those w7's? (i looking @ them for a tight install job as well)

Wow, I bet that is a quiet ride when you have the radio off. Wish I had the time to put more into my audio build. Great job on all of this!

see, i acquired the 300/4 from an install i did at home and brother was going to give me the 1000/1 for all the work i've done down here on his house.
we then worked on his truck and had a lot of materials left over so i got more ensolite and mlv. the 12w7 was a buy one get one free back in michigan. so, we got 2 w7 for $800. i had $600 of play money (i guess you can call it that) left after working my cousin's construction sites and doing a few installs.
i read the post too fast and thought it said "time and money to put into my audio build" i actually don't have the time either but was recently laid off (again) from the construction job i work and the random jobs i do for my old high school don't exist during the summer

the w7 is actually a really deep sub, we're doing a ported box on both our trucks to get our monies worth out of the subs.
the dimensions for my truck are 32.5 inches wide, 15 inches tall, 11.5 inches deep. now, with the port on the driver side of the truck, the sub is going to be all the way to the passenger side of the box so that it clears the port extension inside.
it'll be a close one but i think it will be well worth it.
My original plan was to just use 2 12w3v3s along with lowering my truck this summer but... i knew i wouldn't be happy with the bass of the w3s compared to the w7s my brother used to run in his trailblazer and old avalanche.... so, he convinced me (because it was so hard to do) into buying a w7.
now i really do need to upgrade my alternator and do the big 3....

I saw your 1/0 under the hood as soon as I saw the pic. But most people wouldn't even see it with that wire loom. Looks great. Looks like a bomb could go off by your truck and you'd only hear a pop like a firecracker with all that deadener, lol. Very sexy and looks like it's gonna be a great, quiet ride back home.
Good idea having best buy run the 1/0. I might steal that idea. I HATE running wires with a unswaying passion. Glad to see I'm not the only car audio freak that hates running power wire. Looks like your keeping busy.

see, i was all for drilling the hole myself and running the wire. My brother, doesn't trust me or himself with drilling a hole, so he paid for it because it wasn't something i could justify spending the money on. But, they did a great job and it was pretty painless.
Oh, and the store manager of the best buy offered me a job after i talked a customer into buying a really nice and expensive tv haha. i had khaki shorts and a blue polo on. I thought it was hilarious. i really have no idea what i convinced the man to buy, i just know it had a much better picture than the original one he was looking at
