Clean layout. I actually like the raw look. Or maybe do some ingraving and stain it a darker color. Either way, that is not voltage drop, lol. When you are dropping into the 11.5-12 range call me jokin'. I figured you'd have worse drops than that with a 1000.1 and your mids/highs amp. Hope the transmission deal is something easy to fix.

Relapse, they always come back, lol.

bomb. i love it. i never realized how big the surround is on your jl sub. looks really good though. so what are you going to do with the box? the stained idea sounds real sweet.

when it comes to the big 3 what do they mean by engine to ground. iv been wanting to do it but have no idea about that part.

ok... first off......

i'll be covering the amp rack and sub box this weekend if i have the time.

Second....

those voltage drops you saw aren't the worst. if i turn on my "BUMP" playlist my voltage will drop enough that the amps shut off.

for you JSHARK

i know that some people use the bracket from the alternator bracket as a motor point and then ground it from there.

you should be grounding the lower passenger front corner, and the rear of the cylinder head (preferably on the driver's side), down to the frame rail.

just make sure you clean everything really well. i can't tell you how many times i've seen the crap on the frame still under the new ground points.

Your shuttin your amps down? Awesome, that's a first step towards having incredible music and blurred vision.... And spending even more $$$ to remedy the amps power supply .

I figure you already know what your gettin into, but if you hit any snags on the AD244 alt install when you do that, let me know. In the back of my head I was thinking with those amps he has to be having worse drops than that and if he isn't I'm pissed and wanna know how he did it, lol!

I can't take it not having a system I have to at least have something hooked up... between the howl of my tires and all the plastic pieces that bounce around in my truck it'll drive you nuts without music

i have stock rear speakers still that i fade out when my amps are in. my truck doesn't rattle whatsoever now when i drive. i deadened the hell out of it 2 months ago. the only thing i didn't deaden was the center console because i'm still thinking about putting a 6.5inch sub in it for the dedicated midbass
