91 s10 blazer radio question...???
 

I'll be at the junkyard this weekend. thought while I was there I would try to find a radio that would fit right into my dash. What all year/model vehicles have a factory radio compatible with my 91 ??? thanks guys

Most all GM DIN an half radios swap out. Stay away from anything with theftloc or any security system. My brother replaced the one in his 93 with a CD player out of a camaro. Only thing to watch out for is the plug on the back. I'm pretty sure by 91 GM had updated it to the dual plugs used on the modern radios but my 87 had 3 plugs. Some idiot hacked a radio in my noma or I'd check for you.

anything pre-93 should work, once you get to 93 is when they changed the plugs on the backs of the first gen radios.
You can get one from mid 90's bonnevilles, 90-95, and they sound great, but you might need an adapter for the antenna and wiring harness. Which can be easily found on ebay.

i wish i could find a factory stereo cd player with the eq, the only ive found was in a jimmy with no windshield and half a roof

Look in caddies or f-bodies.

older gm's are really good about parts interchangeability. i took a radio out of early 90s car that had the eq on it and it plugged right into a 85 s10 i have. just to be safe bring your radio with so then you can make sure its the same plug style. also try to get one out of a vehicle with doors and a windshield to make sure theres no water damage
