95 Blazer sould system w/ after. cd player
 

i got 95 blazer with aftermarket cd player and speakers. i want to add 2 subs an a amp. now i dont want it to take up most of the room in the back. i dont need a big thump just some bass. is it possible to put 2 subs w/ cover in the back hatch with the sound dampter. and then maybe put the amp on the drivers side on the side(not the floor) and i'll run the wires under the panels (plastic pieces). i want to put a covering over the amp. i mean no the amp it self but on the out side. also is it possible to hook up the amp and subs to a stock cd player. i like the style of the stock player if not i'll keep my aftermarket cd player in.

ok, i'm kind of lost as of what you're talking about.

you want to put the subs in the tailgate? if so, yes its possible if you have fiberglass skills.
the amp can go anywhere, it could even go in your center console if its small enough.

and yes, you can hook up the amp to the stock radio but you will lose a good amount of control over your bass. you would need a line output converter to keep the factory unit

2 subs in the tailgate and the amp on the side. i want it to take as less space as possible. what you mean fiberglass? can i just cut the holes for the 2 subs in the plastic and screw in the subs? and i took off the platic and it looks like theres hardly any room in take to fit subs cuz of the metal rods and stuff.

well if you want to fiberglass enclosures into the tail gate that is very well possible. you could put your amps wherever you like.

if you just screw the subs into the plastic piece itself, you will have weird rattles because of all the mechanical aspects for the locks and such. but if you sound deaden the tailgate and fiberglass an enclosure into it, you can put 2 smaller subs into it and get a good amount of bass and a clean looking system.

the other issue with "just screwing them in" is that it isn't an air tight seal in there which can harm the subs and is never good
