Default Anyone got a cb in their blazer?

Hello all, anyone got a cb in their blazer, im asking cause my cig jacks work any more and wonderin how to wire it up now. Red to the bat. and black to the frame, right? Also what radio and antenna you running? Im running a pc68xl and a Wilson lil will, in a few days im upgrading to a 5k! Lastly howd you mount it pixs would be nice lol.

I have one that is hard wired, I actually have a Fuse add-a-circuit hooked into the radio fuse... works great and has done since i did it.

and yes, Red is your positive and black is your ground .. I have mine grounded to one of the bolts that attach the e-brake pedal to the body.

Could you use a seat belt post and then ground the body to the frame? What radio and antenna you running?

I have mine wired to the back of the cig lighter cicuit. Got a cobra mounted sideways on the passenger side of the console facing up and slightly rearward. I use a magnetic antenna.

I figured there would be more people here with cbs in their blazers. I think im going to mount mine in the pen/junk tray in front of my floor shifter

Yea I hear you, the cb air waves are pretty quiet where I live... I really only use it when on off-road trips with my buddies. (They have cb's too)

yeah as long as its a good ground it won't be a problem, I have a older Audiovox CB mounted under the dash and i have a magnet mount Antler Antenna I got for cheap from a flea marked until i get my whip.

Cool thank you guys around here the airwaves are pretty quiet too. Have either of you had problems with your cig jacks, on my blazer none of them work, on my dads only the one with the lighter, I have checked the fuses on both of them and they are both good, kinda puzzled why they went out

I had one fall out but i just put it back in and tightened it up, but they have always worked for me
