RE: Audio
kcker subs good. Infinity components good, do yourself a favor and see if you can get last years model comps (6010cs). stay away from bassworx IMO.

RE: Audio
What deck do you have now? Have a budget in mind?
|
RE: Audio
At this point in time im running a pioneer with 4 channel 100 watt deck.
for a deck i dont want to spend much more than prob 400$ amp, subs and components dont really matter. im looking for a nice sounding setup at a higher level *edit* Ancient Pioneer...wont read cd-r's or cd-rw's no amp controlls |

RE: Audio
before ever jumping in and purchasing any audio equipment, you need to take a step back and answer these questions...;
What is my ultimate goal? (What type of sound do I want - loud and obnoxious or high quality sound or somewhere in between?) What is my budget? Once you answer those, you can start to narrow in on what you will get. |
RE: Audio
Decent level sound with high quality
Budget isnt to big of a factor this is more an ongoing process so if i cant afford it right away ill get it when i can |
RE: Audio
400 bucks will get you a very nice CD receiver with probably more features than you'd need. Panasonic and Pioneer are good "bang for your buck" brands. Alpine, Clarion, and Eclipse are a little more high end brands. 400 bucks will also get you a good name brand used DVD receiver from an ebay auction OR i've seen some ebay stores selling a new Pioneer base DVD receiver for that price every once in a while.

RE: Audio
ya, 400 is alot for a deck.
can get a very nice pioneer premier for under 300 |
