Mine only dim when I turn up the gains on my amp. It dims when my sub hits and only when it hits.

your gain is not a volume knob....u shouldnt do that

you should probably get either a bigger battery or a second battery.........the big 3 actually did help my truck run better...you can tell it runs smoother over the stock wiring. I did my upgrade with 1/0 wire and added a 300 amp alt

Seemed to help mine run better also. The only alts I can find for mine are 200 amps but that should be fine. Also my big 3 was done in 4 gauge (everything still factory but I changed 99% of my bulbs to LEDs) but by the end of the day its gonna be 1/0.
