I'm thinking about picking up a decent dB meter... as my brothers doesn't go high enough to measure my Blazer... So I'm looking for decent ones, that are fairly accurate... preferable go higher than 126dB...

TL is the only way to go....no one really accepts scores from anything else

I would agree that the Term Lab is the only really reputable meter on the market now, but they are pretty expensive, over 600.

only thing with ebay is you gotta find someone selling the mics / software and cables

yeah good luck finding one for cheap. I'm the head installer at my car audio shop and we hosted a stereo comp at our place last summer. The things aren't expensive and if you can't find a mic then it's gonna be hard.

Maybe I'll see if any of the local car audio shops have any, lol.
