Hello... I am curious if anyone knows if there is any way to put an in-dash cd/dvd/nav system in a 1999 blazer? I dont want a filp out but a flush mount screen is desired! If you know how to do it so it looks good and not taped and glued Please let me know asap!

There has to be a way to get a decent sized indash cd/dvd/nav system in our trucks without totally destroying them first! If anyone knows of hoe to do this many many many people would be greatful!!!!

Also, the search tool works great! "Double+Din" should do the trick!

also, there are single din radios with 3.5inch screens from pioneer, soundstream, and i believe alpine that are nice. they aren't that big but they do show video.

then there are the radios such as farenheit that are single din slots with a 5 inch screen that you can get.

but, unless you get the newer dash, or hack up your original, you will not get a double din in easily

they're good radios for video and such for the money. but when you get into the navigation, bluetooth, satellite radio, and blah blah blah aspect... $900 at least for a good one. i'd love to drop the money on one but i can't justify that when my radio works just fine, it just doesn't play movies haha... single din Pioneer FTW

Awsome! So according to "djerock" all i need is a double din dash and i should be ready to install the double din screen!? I did not know there were different dash setups from 1995-2005 but I read that they started the double din in 2003!?

i believe 2003 is correct. my 2004 is a double din, its just a difference in the plastic of the dash bezel if i'm not mistaken. you can junk yard them for like $30 or ebay for $40-50

I don't understand the need for a car stereo that plays movies. What are you going to do, watch a movie while you drive?

Wow, I'm full of negativity in my posts tonight. Sorry 'bout that. I'll try to lighten up the mood in the next post.

If that's how you feel about it then im glad you don't have one! I have a child and figured it would be a great idea to have the indash control the rear screens! I didn't post this question to create negative replys but to figure out how to do what I want. Thanx guys for all of the help
