Easiest way to run RCA & Power?
Just wondering if anybody knew the best/easiest way to run these cables to the trunk? Not really sure if I should try to run these through the carpet or underneath the cabin. Running 1/0 power wire. I'm driving an '02 4 door Blazer.

Typically you would run your cables through the cabin under the carpet, although 1/0 cable is pretty thick and will cause a noticeable bulge in the carpet. If you choose to run the power cable under the truck you'll want to protect it somehow. I ran my 1/0 cable through the frame using existing holes in the frame, and with a heavy duty sheath and grommets where it passes through the frame wall.

On my 04, I ran my 0 gauge along top of the frame rail on the passenger side, drilled a roughly 1.5in hole in the floorboard just under the rear seat, and used a grommet and brought it inside there. The RCA signal wires I just ran under the carpet along the passenger side.

1/0 will sit under the side trim piece by the door with next to no noticeability. also if your running a system large enough to be running 1/0 make sure the rest of the electrical is upgraded as well. if not you are going to put a major strain on your alt and battery killing both fairly quickly not too mention the headlight dim at night when the bass hits. here is a dodge Dakota I did running 8000 watts. quad 1/0 runs front to back (2+ 2-), 320A alt and 5 batteries (750ish AH total).

theres plenty of space between the pos and neg on them so theres no chance of touching. only way they would ever touch is if the person decided to unbolt the terminals from the battery. if you think that's a lil hairy though you should see loads of others that have up to 6 alts on their blazers with 2-3 runs of 1/0 off each alt to the batteries lol. ill be doing a dual or triple alt setup in my blazer once I start on it. currently just gathering the gear up slowly.

There is more than enough space. Check out some of the loudest audio systems out there.
