Elemental Designs NIne.1 @.5ohm?
 
Has anyone seen or heard of anyone running these amps @ .5ohm with any luck?? it will just be for a few burps..any input?

If you have the voltage, I would do it. But if you dont have the power to back it, I wouldnt at all.

I don't think you can run that amp under 1ohm. I'm not sure but I would check manual/call elemental design. I'm guessing you from your sig and your questionthat your two p3's are dual 2ohms. My buddy just bought some, 500rms i think? He got a JL 1000.1. Maybe a PG 1200.1 xenon would be a fair move.

I have buddies that burp that amp at .5 ohms. They just get real power hungry below 1 ohm. They just burp them for comps like you are looking to do. and there are a few guys on Termpro that do the same.

the p3's are dual 4 ohm..but i'll be using 2 Napalm 15's at the next show and there dual 2 ohm..

Yeah a couple ppl over at termpro said ppl have done it with success, so i'm gonna give it a try...
