I've always been a fan of Polk speakers and subs. There's something about the tightness of the low end that makes 'em that way to me.

Sony Xplod is a joke, HUs, speakers, subs, amps, all of that line.

I'm fond of Kenwood HUs, and I've always found RF amps to be solidly built and good sounding.

I haven't tried anything other than the mass-produced and mass-marketed brands, really. I'd like to try some Rainbows, I guess my Dynasty will be the test mule for those.

Do you have any evidence to support this? Or are you just chiming in to drop a baseless opinion?

lol you need to acutally listen to a nice SPL system....The one im building will do 150s daily and still sound amazing. You must get away from mainstream companies and experience things other then the "JL Audio is the best" craze.

Also, as far as your alpine comment, Im not a huge fan of alpine but in all my years of competing and messing with car stereo i have never heard a bad comment about an alpine amp. So unless you can backup what your stating stay out of this thread

define sounds amazing. Do the highs seamlessly blend with your midrange... does your midrange blend with your midbass... does your midbass blend with your lows? I highly doubt you have much midbass at all and that your lows overpower everything except your highs. Just a prediction.
