ill be honest....To me it sounds good. I have one of the better/clean sounding SPL setups in the area. Im not much of an SQ guy, so I cant give you a good opinion of if it blends properly and all that jazz. To me, it sounds like it blends nicely. I can turn the bass way down so it doesnt overpower everything but I can also leave it turned up and still hear my highs, and mids very clearly lol.

 

thats a much better explination than your first one ("sounds amazing"). to play music at 150DB in a vehicle and still have it accurately reproduce the music as realistically as possible is damn near impossible. Everyone has their own definition of "sounds good to me" so to say that is much more appropriate. To build and install a system in your own vehicle and enjoy what you are hearing is pretty much the goal of all DIYers. To most, that is all that matters.

 

Im pretty partial to RE's XXX lineup for subs. really like what focal has in its lineup for comps. and Zapco for amps. None of these companies are even know of at all where im from. lol
