I have a Power Acoustik 5500D Gothic Series amp, and up until today I have had no problems with it. It is cutting off then coming back on. Now usually when I have had this problem with other woofers I could easily fix the problem, but this one is confusing me. The amp isn't fried because sometimes it will just play. All the fuses are fine. I don't think it's drawing too much power because it will even shut off if the song is paused. Anyone have a idea?

 

Could just be a loose wire. Check your ground and remote wire.
