hooking up rca's an remote
 
is it possible to hook the rca's an remote wire up so the stock head unit in a 2000 blazer if so how do u do it im not new to car audio but i have never hooked the amp an stuff to the stock radio before

you need to buy a LOC (Line Output Converter) which will allow you to have RCAs for a factory headunit. as far as a remote wire, you will have to tap into the exisiting harness somewhere that has switched power

if you want you could run it to your fuse box, i ran it to the wiper fuse.

Tie into the Yellow (larger gauge) wire at the radio. That is your trucks actual switched 12volt wire. That would be the best, but wiper fuse ok as well.

there are line out converters that have an automatic turn on, so you dont need to tap into a 12v source to make your own remote turn on wire. i have one in my girls acura

Make sure your positive it is the right yellow wire the airbag system is yellow wiring to and if you try to splice into it you'll likely get a broken nose.
