HU issues
 

I have a 2002 blazer 2 door. I bought it without a radio and connector cut off. Yesterday I bought a kit from Walmart for $79 with a Bluetooth 7” screen 4 speakers and back up cam. I installed radio and speakers no issue. The issue I’m having is the HU doesn’t turn on with vehicle I have to manually turn on with power button (not that big a deal but would be cool if I didn’t lol) when I turn off blazer and open door it turns off HU. When I turn back on all the settings on radio have to be reset. Is this a wiring issue or maybe just the HU? Any tips/advice is appreciated TIA!

Also in the sticky it says (wires coming from blazer)
Radio 12v is orange
Radio ignition is DK green
Radio illumination (dimmer) Gray
Radio ground black

on the connector coming from new HU
Yellow has a inline 10a fuse and says battery+
Red says ACC 12v
Orange TFT dimmer
Black ground

I initially connected
Radio 12v orange with yellow
Radio ign dk green with red
Radio illum gray with orange
Radio ground with black

when I did this I had to power on and off the radio but it saved settings

now I switched
Radio 12v orange with red
Radio ign dk green with yellow
the rest remained the same

now I have to power on but it’ll turn off when I open door but doesn’t save settings
