I want to install remote start in my 98 blazer

I’m worried about the security system. From what I understand, my car might not have the security system that I’d have to bypass if I want to put remote start in it. I don’t have the special security keys with the little black chip on it, which is what makes me believe there’s nothing for me to bypass. I don’t know if this matters, but I’ve also put in an aftermarket stereo.

What do y’all think? Is there anything I need to bypass?

The car is a 4-door 98 Blazer LS, any advice y’all could give would be fantastic.

Vehicle is Passlock II (no chip). Sensor in ignition lock cylinder sends vehicle specific code to BCM which in turns disables the security system through the PCM each time you start it. IMHO remote start is not worth it. Many electrical nightmares and Passlock problems can be easily created when attempting to install remote starts.
