this may make me look or sound stupid but how do you add another battery to the back? my system draws way way too much power and its already killed my battery a hand full of times. ive upgraded the alt to a bigger one but its still drawing alot of power.

what size alt? i have the same problem. an alternator wont fully charge a dieing battery. my gauge usually stays a **** hair below 14 running around 1800rms on a 200amp alt.

oh ya, to answer your question, you run a wire from the battery under your hood to the one in the back, then ground it. add a fuse or isolator if you'd like.

lol, I only have a little 10 inch sub with built in amp working off my rear speakers with an aftermarket deck... I'll post picks though, I wanted a setup that allowed me to yank out the sub real easy when I need to put something in the back, like the dresser I moved for my buddy the other day.

my alt is 260 i believe. either way i wanted to hook up another battery. So all i have to do is run a power wire to it, ground it and add a fuse or isolator in the line somewhere?
