made a wee lil purchase last night
 

I went to the store last night for a wire harness and a stereo adapter thing and got in a really giddy mood. I was going to wait to buy this but, i put it on my credit cards. i bought the stuff to finish my speaker box that i am building for the blazer along with a upgraded set of amp wiring supplies. On top of that i also got 4 750 watt 12" subs that i will be running about 850 watts to. It should be fun and i will post pics later. Does that sound like it might be hearable?

im running (till i get the new set in - and i mean speakers and amps) a 2 channel, at 2 ohm, 2000 watt amp. Its an American Legacy Serries 2. The subs are Lightning Audio P3.12.4's - now i know that they arent the top of the pile but i have had great results in the past. the last time i had a set of LA's they were the 10 inch 750 watts, i had them on a RF 600 watt amp and they pounded so hard. im not even kiddin'. db reader said mid 130's in a bandpass. so i picked up 4 of the 12's. i have two boxes that are being bolted together basically. One is a Qlogic box that is .6 sq ft in each chamber and ported at about 54 hz. the other is an enclosed box at .9 sq ft a speaker. note that all the speakers have there own chamber. i plan to replace the current amp and add another one because the subs will be replaced in a few months with 4 RF T2 12's. i already have the active sony crossover, DVD/CD/MP3/WMA/MP4/TV Tuner head unit, 7" touchscreen/ 2x 200 watt 2 channel amps. next week i will be replacing the component speakers. Im thinking Eclipse audio for that, or the RF Power series.
