Hello all, i'm looking at replacing my pos sony xplod. I was looking at this one

I have that kenwood in my sunfire and its a nice piece for the price. No problems with it whats so ever. Im currently running the Kenwood eXcelon KDC X991 in my bravada but its much more then your budget. Out of the two I would go with the kenwood. The usb and aux ports are always nice to have.

 

96chevblazer what did you use to install your first headunit?

I was going through crutchfield just checking the options and was curious

 

^^actually my blazer came with the sony, so i really dont know

and unlimitedsp i was think the same about the kenwood. next to come is speakers and a amp and subs.

 

I have a KENWOOD KDC-MP638U & love it but it was $$$ I have had Clarion's my last one lasted 8 year's & I am very hard on my stuff. ether way you should be good to go

Actually i think im gonna go with the calrion because it cheaper and imo better looking

 

the KENWOOD KDC-MP638U is a nice deck to. you can get it for 127.00 on amazon.com. See if you like it.

 

ya that kenwood is pretty nice too but i think im still gonna go with the clairon

 

Well i cant help with what you should choose cause I've always had sonys in mine because they came with the cars when i bought them but i can save you a few bucks if you go to http://www.millionbuy.com I've used them for everything from subs, boxs, amps, and my buddy ordered his HU from them. Always been a positive experience, cheaper than other sites on both prices and shipping. Takes a little longer than some to get there but then agian shippings alot cheaper and you still have the options for rush service if you need it quick.

 

Ya $127.00 I got mine over a year ago for $ 200.00 why can't I get those deals I like the MP3 cord I hide it in the ashtray no one knows I have it in tell I pull out my I pod
