New Rear Speakers low output
I just replaced my stock setup with a new MP3/iPod Sony system along with 4 new Sony speakers. I'm pretty sure everything was wired correctly but my rear speakers performance is terrible. If I adjust the fader on the tuner, the Front speaker quality equals the rear at +10 to the rear. The sound from the front speakers is awesome, but the rear is severly lacking.
Is there a way to read out the rear speaker wire, like with a voltmeter or ?? I'm thinking the blazer rear speaker wiring is crap but not sure where to go from here except taking it back apart and swapping speakers around and or re-wiring. Any help would be appreciated!

check and make sure u didnt get the neg and pos backwards on the speakers or the head unit, also make sure the speakers are rated correctly for the radio if u put 8ohm and the radio calls for 4ohm it can do trick
Well last nights venture turned out to be a lot of wasted effort. Took everything back apart, moved speakers around and wired directly to the deck with no improvement to the rears. Determined there is nothing wrong with the Blazer's wiring, the low output must be due to the deck itself. Since it's working I'll live with it, figure it must just be the design, hell I never sit in the back anyway. Now on to replacing door bushings and the multi-function switch...damn Blazer!
