well i went ahead and got the 200amp model, anyone have any experience with this? or any input?

threw research out the window and bought it on a splurge :p says 90-100 amps at idle.

does anyone know what the stock 105 amp put out at idle? just for comparison.

a good kinetic battery is damn near the same price, so it WAS the obvious thing to do, based my decision on the fact that they accept paypal, ship to canada, and i found it.....so ya...

oh! and it says its 100% new, not remanufactured!

you should get it tested before/when you get it put on. ive heard of that company, i think a few have tryed it. Hopefully it has good idle #'s for ya that is always my main concern

I think stock idle is 40 amps. I replaced my alternator with a AD244 alternator.

is that the stock replacement for the tahoe and such?

Just monitor your battery voltage after installation. As long as it doesn't go above 14.5, you should be ok with that alternator.

in the process of the big 3 and i have a question, can i just take a chunk of wire and run it from the alt to the battery? it looks like the one there now runs to the fuse box 1st? then back to the battery? or how does that work?

do i have to disconnect these or can i just stick on a piece of 4 gauge and call it a day?

directly alt to battery, no fuse.

is it possible with the highout put alt that i will have soon pop the fuse if its still connected?

buummp. looks like it goes from the alt to a bracket on the fuse box. i really dont know what to do for this. disconnect it and just run straight like i said?

wow, this board sure sucks now....
