anyone ever hear of pheonix gold speakers. are they any good? do they sound good? thanks guys

yeah they suck there cheap an not worth it just go out an spend some more money an get some aplines or infitiy speakers

all depends when they were made. If they are brand new, then chances are they arent anyhting impressive. If they are atleast 5 years old, get them.

lol i really dont think alpine or infinity speakers will be any better....my infinity's suck....thinkin' of hookin em up to my 1500D when i get it back[8D]

ok so is there another brand that is reletively "cheap" in price (not like 150-1300430495035) per set??? that is good and would be recommended?

the only car speakers that i use are apline i have a 198 s10 blazer an i have a 7inch flip up an 4x6 in the dash an 6x9s in the back an everything that i have is apline except for the sub it is a cvr by kicker an the apline type s are not bad in price but the money you spend for them is worth it ill give a site that i use for everything an are good in price www.woofersetc.com

holy crap blazen4wd! Ever hear of punctuation?? periods and commas can go a long way! And how does mentioningyour 7" flip up screen help the OP at all? It doesnt.

thanks for the website.... although i dont want to spend an arm and a leg to get sound. im not even gonna have a sub (dont want one) just want some better sound than the crap stock at a cheap price. nor am i gonna have a 7" or 42" drop screen. just an aftermarket cd player that gets the job done

pioneer TS-A1673R
pioneer TS-A4672R

and most likely this for head unit... Pioneer DEH-P5100UB
