rear safety lights

Everyone knows that you can be safer by installing an extra brake light, but has anyone thought about reverse lights?

Here is my new reverse lights:

Yeah, you'd probably need something light that with those aftermarket tail lights. The problem with a few of the aftermarket tail lights is that they change the reflector on the reverse lights, basically rendering them completely ineffective.

My stock reverse lights light up my driveway very well. My problem is that once my garage light turns on, it gets difficult to see into the garage! LOL.

The reverse lights work well at night around my place becauseits not lit like a street would be in town

I'll be mounting a set on my blazer pretty soon as well...

My aftermarket tails have a great light pattern, but since they're smoked a bit, not as bright as I'd like, lol

More than once I've been tempted to do something like that, but to aim it a bit higher and put a dash switch with a manual on/off for tailgaters at night.

But decorum forbids.

No, it doesn't... It gives those people who leave their highbeams on when they're right behind you a good lesson, lol.
