Default Rear speakers dead - 1996 jimmy

I bought my jimmy used back in December and when I did the back speakers were dead, despite the front door speakers and tweeters working fine. I thought they were simply blown and pulled a set that were working from a junked blazer of the same year. However, this did not help as the speakers still didn’t make a sound. Today I installed a new head unit and still I have the same issues. I believe there is a pinched wire some where but I have no idea where to start looking.

Itll be a pain, but itll be easier to run new wires... but if you've moved your door trim, I would check the bottom of the doors, or where they go into the door.
