In the main picture:

Where the tabs were before.
They had screw holes for the push button lock (when the door goes down, it locks in place, but it’s kind of useless since it never has anything forcing it open)

I cut them with the saw my dad had out (router saw or some ****? IDK)

Anyways, now I will fit my new amp in here and have 4 speaker awesomeness.

Before I just had the sony xm-4045 with 2 speakers.

In the last 2 pictures, you can see where the amp will sit on a level surface, but the floor is not level.

As you can also see, the amp has about 2 inches of room, which is how far the bottom sits (notice the cut-out for the seat belt)

The only bad parts about this:

No tray in the center console. Before I could at least still use the small tray.

It's going to be a bitch getting all the wires connected.

BTW I put the amp in the center console to save money on speaker wiring.
