I have a 2000 Blazer 4 door 4x4. I need to replace the factory speakers. On the front doors, do I need to remove the whole door panel or does the plastic speaker grill pop off without taking off the panel?

You have to remove the whole thing...it's one piece.

one screw in door handle. two bolts under the door pull. Lift out from the door and unclip any harnesses. If you break any of those clips, got to parts store and get a box of 15 for 5 bucks.

You could always disconnect em and buy some custom kick pods if you enjoy staging!!!

What's up guys, kind of going through the same thing...do you guys have any links to any schematics or diagrams? I found the the screw in the door handle but cant find the bolts.

what year do you have?? if you have 95-97, then there are no bigger bolts. just the screw in door handle and two under the little cover in the door pull. If you have a 98 newer, then look at the door pull/armrest, then look directly under it. there are two bolts right under that do in rught under the door pull.

alright I'll do that. I have a 99 and I'm getting around to actually putting the sound system together and tuning it. Right now I have 2 Kicker comp vr 12's and I'm replacing the factory door speakers because there is distortion once I get in the higher volume levels. Shouyld I replace the speakers on the dash as well?

dash speakers are about preference, I like having sound coming dash. plus if the speakers arnt amped it really helps.
