Default Started install!

So I have asked many questions and have now started to install my new audio equipment.
I installed my new Alpine CDA-9885 on Friday. It sounds very nice with my Inifinity 6.5" Reference door speakers I installed after Christmas.

I also ran the Alpine iPod control cable (included if purchased from Crutchfield) from the back into the glove box.

Now here comes the in progress items. This is my Alpine M-450 Amp. I'm going to mount it on the custom box I am building.

This is my Infinity 124.7 sub that will be wired at 2 ohm to get the most out of the 350 watt rms rating.

And here is a few other pictures of my dirty (today was the first day without rain in a few days) Blazer.

I'll post more pictures of the box build when I go to finish assembling it, and as I run wires and install the sub and amp. Also has anyone personally seen any Rhino-lined sub boxes? I am thinking of carpeting it, but I thought Rhino-lining it might be a cool alternative.

Ive used truck bed liner on a few boxes in jeeps where they had a chance of getting wet. Doesnt look too bad either.

Had it done in my other truck. I loved it and might do it again if I can find someone around here that does it.

just buy the bed liner you can get at walmart and get the kit with the special roller. looks just as good as the sprayed stuff and is much cheaper.

The box I am building is similar to the box otnietdehoooobuilt. It is designed to fit over the wheel well, but the side against the back seat isn't rectangular. The side against the seat is trapezoidal. It is 20" front to back, 18" across and 12" tall.

Thanks for the opinions on lining as opposed to carpeting. I am very curious how lining it will look. I am looking for a way togive my box an even larger sense of customization.I think I'll buy a little bit in a few colors andcoat some scraps to see how it looks.

As far as the iPod interface, it is very quick and very easy to use. The only downside is not being allowed to have the mix (shuffle) option on and search for anything at the same time.
