yeah the zx amp will work fine. many people say that kicker amps put out more than they say. my zx750 cam with a sheet that said its certified 880w... mine sounds GREAT, had i done a little more research before i bought it, i probably would have looked into a few more brands but, i knew kicker was a good brand and i found the CVR for a really good price.

why is it that the dual 2ohm version has a lower Fs than the dual 1ohm? more efficient?

My guess is eithera larger coil gap or just less weight making it slightly more efficient

EDIT: Pimpin, make sure if you decide to get that sub that you get the Dual 1ohm so you can wire it at 2ohms for that amp...

man you dont hear much about them but i like my treo's. the ssi series is rated at 750 rms and are pretty beefy. "supposed" to be their sound quality street driver but it hits pretty much every note. and can take a beating too, i had one at one time on 1000 watts and it didnt even flinch.

pretty weak suspension on the L7's but then again, I've blown about 10 of them goofing off. And to tonkpils, I have ran Treo (had the SSX18)

If you do your research you'll find that smaller companies take alot more pride in their work.....obviously they're not trying to sell the name
