Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has ever put a small system under the passenger seats of their 2nd gen Blazer? Mines a 4d, and its got a decent amount of space under it. I don't want a hugh system to take up all the room in the trunk as I like to haul stuff. What do you all think, maybe a small truck box with a 10 or 12 in it?

So just noticed this has been covered quiet a bit, mod can close it if need be.

are you talking about behind the rear seats? there is hardly any room behind or under the rear seats. depending on power seats in the front there isn't much room under the front seats either. There aren't many places to hide an amp in a blazer unfortunately

Yea I was talking about under the rear seats, or possibly under the passenger seat, I need to take some measurements. That JL stealth box sure is sexy but it is pricy. I have 2 10" xplods in a regular box and 2 12" Jensons in a bandpass but the boxes are tooo big for me.

I had a pretty small rockford amp that wouldn't fit under the seat and you also run into the problem if you ever fold down your seats they won't go down with an amp under there. now that I think about it I couldn't even get my capacitor to fit and that is probably half the size of an amp. most people mount their amps to the plastic peices that cover the hole when your seats are down.

this is how I had my amps to try and keep as much space as possible, you could always get a smaller box than me

you could also try and build your own stealthbox. it wouldn't be too hard to build a slim out of the way box if you have basic wood work skills and tools

Yea. I tried hiding my amps everywhere. Mack gave me a good idea if its a small amp. On the roof. Inside obviously. Then run it to the stealth box you make/buy.

I have another idea for a bandpass box. Its called a widow-maker and it was originally designed to have your tv sit on top of it so it was unnoticeable. Google didn't show anything anymore but I'll do my best to explain.

Its something like the picture I made. Lots of air movement and can be made for any size sub. If you make it big enough it can be like a raised up floor in the back.
