I am wondering if my wiring adapter for my 2000 Camaro will work for my 2001 Jimmy also. I took the stereo out of the Camaro last year and figured if he harness would work than I would go ahead and throw it in the Jimmy. I would think they would work, after all, they are similar years, both GM, and similar, if not identical, stock radios. Anyone have an answer for this?

 

you would have to check to see if the pins are correct in the back of the radio...only one way to find out.

 

did the camaro have the monsoon system???? does your jimmy have the bose system??? If you answered yes to either one of those questions then it is not the same harness..... If your camaro was the plain jane GM delco no nonsence radio, and so is your jimmy, then you're all good
