Default Thoughts on RF's Power T1's&2

Like the title says......Looking for input on these subs. I was originally going to go with Type R's mostly based on a price to performance ratio.

But this power series looks a little tempting........

T1's and 2's can get real loud. Not the best sq, but if you build the box right, can still get decent sq out of them, but they do get loud!

How do they take power......If I did go with RF it would be a 1 sub setup being powered by the sundown.

I mean the T2's are like $430 for a 12 and like $319 for a T1 15

well really my choices are 2 12" R's/ 1 12" T2/1 15" T1/soundstreams T5's

will have around 1500-1700rms@ 1 ohm

any links to a good site that allows paypal? woofersetc dosent accept it i think......also has to ship to canada.

they will take the sundown no problem in a good box. onlinecarstereo.com takes paypal, and shipping is 14.95 for each item.

IMO I think the RF power series woofers arn't the best for the money. There are better drivers out there that will outperform them in SPL and SQL for the money required to get one of them. Just my .2

What do you want to go with? 2 12's, 1 12, 2 15's or 1 15?

Well......I just ordered 2 12" type R dual 4's

but I was gonna go with either a T1 15 or a T2 12.........still might have to give one a whirle in the future.

so It'll be 2 12's on about 1600rms, both the sundown and the R's are on their way!

will get a new box (finally) subs firing up port back and prolly at 32hz. But I'm gonna phone around to see what a fibre glass one will run me.......
