Remote Wire Problem.

Default Remote Wire Problem.

I need some help finding were to hook up the remote wire to my head unit. I didnt see anything in the back of it that sad "rem" or "remote" http://www.roadmasterusa.com/forums/...p?showtopic=42 there is a product manual on that link... someone please help...

your remote wire should be a blue wire on the deck, and if you cant figure out how to do it, you could just run a wire from your battery to a toggleswitch, then toggleswitch to amp.

From what I can tell in the manual it doesnt appear that your Head Unit has a remote wire. Just tap on to the switched 12+(ACC) that the radio uses, this will do basically the same thing as a remote, just your amp will turn on and off with the vehicle and not the radio...

And Harper, you missed one important thing...

Battery -> Fuse -> Switch -> Amp ....

yes i forgot about the Fuse, thanks for the clear up Nick lol. but id go with his idea Steve, so you dont have to worry about making sure the switch is off or not.
