wiring a new radio
I'm wiring a new radio in my 95 blazer and being the cheapskate I am I refuse to buy a wiring kit, so much so I even made my own single din instalation kit out of the old radio case lol. anyways what I need to know is does anyone here have posted a wiring digram for the radio? I know power, switch and ground but I would like to use the existing speaker wires and just need a point of reference on which is which.

Somewhere on here is a diagram I just dont remember where. An easy way to find the speakers is to touch each set of wires to a 9volt battery and it will send just enough current to make the speaker tell you which one it is. DO NOT USE ANYTHING BIGGER THAN A 9 VOLT THOUGH, or you might bolw the speaker.

well thank you for the info and my appologies for wasting your time, but for future reference if you feel someone is about to make you waste your time your best bet is to not respond at all, automotive Forums are meant to be helpful resources of information given without regression or discord. Again my appologies.

I know what forums are for. They are for people to learn new things about their vehicles. The reason I responded was so that you didnt repost the same question like alot of people do that join just to get an answer then leave. The thing that earked me was that all you had to do was type WIRING DIAGRAM in the search link and bamm just like that the answer to your question was there. I didnt mean to be rude earlier, had a bad morning, just next time attempt to find the answer yourself before you pass your work on to others. Have a good one bro.
