If you already have aftermarket stereo you just cut the wires and hook up the other radio no need for new harness i got one that is bout as old as my truck been through 10 different gm vehicles

i got the kit and everything its just the wiring im confused about:icon_shrug:
but if i bought a wiring harness that fits on the blazers wires would it fit? what im asking is are all the wiring harnesses for blazers the same? |
Did you cut the wires in the dash? (if not dont do that) They are the same from like 84up to like 98 or something like that
|
no i havent touched it yet thanks for the info
well i have a harness for the arfter market stereo but i was thinking of buying a new harness for the blazer itself to make things easier |
Yes you really just need the adapter wiring to go from the stock harness to the aftermarket harness. No cutting required, plug and play. 2nd Gens should all have the same harness.

yea when I crashed my s10 that was a 97 and got a 2000 blazer I plugged my headunit right in from the s10. all the colors should match and if they don't there should be a wiring diagram that came with the wiring harness
