Xtreme Spare Tire Carrier Removal Help

Been searching with no luck on this. I want to remove the spare tire holder in my 02 Xtreme to have more room from for my box and batteries. Do any of you know if it has to be cut out or is it bolted in. I’m not using it and just want it out of there. Any help is appreciated.

I've looked into adding a spare tire carrier inside the cargo area of my Blazer.
From my short research at the man mall, it looks like there are some bigger bolts holding on the bracket near the bottom.
I will try to take one out on my next trip.

Finally got around to finding an interior spare tire carrier I could get to...and didn't smell like cat whiz.

Looks like there are just three 15 mil bolts that hold it in place. One on the floor, and the other two behind the jack trim panel.

I spent more time trying to remove that jack panel lid from behind the bracket then I did anything else. What a pain! Will definitely be putting on an exterior tire carrier now.
