Unfortunately it's still cheaper than a new car. All manufacturers are having catastrophic failures to major components. It's hard to figure out what to buy anymore. Quality is simply horrible. Even the airlines are seeing an increase in component failures or lousy mechanics

Toyota is having engine problems too in their Tacomas. They had to replace many engines. All the manufacturers are having QC problems.

That's not good, coming from the company that basically invented Total Quality Management.
