Default 1992 S-10 Tahoe electric to manual 4wd

Good everyone... First of all thank you for accepting me to the group. I am happy to be of help to others if possible and looking forward to learning from those that have gone before me in my Blazer experiences..

Alright, to dive into it. I recently moved into and area that gets rather heavy snowfall and my electric 4wd doesn't work. I know it could be fixed with possibly a lot of time and effort ... I would really prefer to switch it to a manual control before the first snowfall. Anyone out there that has experience with this I would much appreciate your help.
If a kit is better then jury-rigging it, please let me know what kit and where to get it... If there is an easy way to just throw a lever in place of the actuator or something like that, I would do that also .. I'm open to all options at the moment.

You could jury rig it with a lever - think there is something on here about welding a wrench on the shaft for the shift motor
If it were mine I would go to a pick and pull/wrecking yard and get a transfer case and the floor shift from a older 1st gen S10 blazer [in the 80s} and install it.
If I had room for the floor shift in my MORF the electronic junk would be gone .
Before people got lazy and prissy all 4WDs had a floor shift and you got out and turned the front hubs in by hand with a lever or twist **** .....

Thank you, I am really trying to find something like that, but im having trouble finding something showing me how to do it... im not an actual mechanic and don't know the process, I really only do small time repairs on my blazer at the moment and am learning the bigger repairs as I go. If anyone could help me out with the process I would appreciate it, thank you
