1994 S10 Blazer Tahoe LT - Restoration
 

Hey everybody, New the forum and the club. Just Picked up a relatively clean 94 S10 Blazer Tahoe LT 4wd for $750.

I was looking for a 4x4 suv to pull two jet skis and take the occasional trip. Having always loved the square bodies (my dad had an 85 S10 back in the 90s) I found this one on craigslist. Initially passed it up, looking for a full size tahoe or yukon. I kept seeing it again, and again, so decided that was my sign. Rented a U-haul pickup & auto transport, and drove 2 hrs to Orlando to get it.

Truck has a transmission issue, having no 2nd or 4th. PO said he bought as a project but never tried to fix, and didn't have time to get to it. Hopefully I'll luck out and find out it's an electrical/solenoid problem. Will be pulling the pan in the next couple days to start looking.

231,xxx miles on the clock, but the engine pulls strong. I was surprised how hard it pulled having sat neglected for a while. Other than the transmission the only other significant problem is the suspension/steering. Driver side Upper control arm bushings are completely gone, so I've already ordered poly replacements. I'll prob end up replacing all the ball joints, tie rods, etc. Just wanted to inspect before I order new parts.

No planning on doing anything extreme to this great little truck, but will do my best at bring her back to former glory. Buff/Polish the paint, clean up the interior, tune up, and fix what needs fixin'. If i decide I need more power with the trailer maybe I try a budget remote mount turbo :icon_lol: The 4.3 Turbo Rotson on Roadkill was pretty impressive.
