Post 1999 Blazing Build

So I am starting this a little late (one year), but want to now start my build thread. I will date all of the previous pictures starting from when it was at the auction.

Hope you all enjoy and do not mind my questions on the way.

Here is the Blazer sitting at an auction lot. I did not purchase it from the auction but the mechanic who I bought the car from did.

Did not do much to the Blazer for first couple of months, but the first install was the stereo. I changed the 6.5" door speakers and front 4x6's with Sony's. I added 12" Kicker Sub with Boss (sorry!!) 1100 watt amp. The amp actually works great. The Head Unit is Kenwood and the mount was purchased from Crutchfield. The entire install took about 4.5-5 hours.

Default June 2015 (2)

Since I am located in the state of Florida, I decided it was time to get the front windows tinted.

With some time on my hands, I decided to restore my salt corroded Oldsmobile rims(still looking for new ones) with the 3M wheel restoration kit. I also got the tires flipped as I am not a big fan of white walls.

It looks good. I like the 2 tone color combo. The wheels cleaned up pretty nice.

Thanks, you don't really see the 2 tone colors much. And the wheels have kind of lost their shine already.

Default Lift!!

I have finally saved enough for the day of the lift. I went with superlift control arms paired with moog ball joints and 2 inch lift shackles in the rear. The superlift control arms put the ball joint at a angle to reduce wear. I got about 1.5 inches in front and 2 in back. And I got a 3 year alignment program at tires plus. How's it look?
