2.5 in rough country lift kit!

Here is my 1996 S10 with 2.5 rough country lift kid with diff drop brackets and sway bar relocation brackets. I am putting on a 2 in PA body lift in march and have 32 x 11.5 in tires ready to go on.

I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain for a bit here lol. About the lift, how much did the front diff get dropped with the brackets? How are your CV joint angles after the lift? I am guessing that the tires in the pic are 31's? How are the ball joint angles with the new control arms? I have heard good and bad about these kits...but I am guessing that you like yours a lot lol

well the past rough country have had a bad rap because they used cheap ball joints and there was no diff drop bracket. well i bought this one because it came with both good ball joints and a diff drop bracket. the cv angles are way way way better the diff drop bracket is about 1 and a quarter drop which is enough. and yes i love the lift beause now my lift is done right and i wont be paying for new front end parts every year. and no they are 30s i have a body lift which im putting on and i have 32 in bfgs all terrains going on. and no problem thats why i posted this.

Thanks so much for the information! Yeah, the bad rap part is one of the reasons I was asking...that and I have already blown threw CV axles myself and I want it done right also. I just didn't want to go spending that kind of money for something that isn't much better than what I had, which was nothing at all lol. And maybe it was the rims that threw me off on what size tire it was, who knows lol, and thanks again, I think I am sold on the kit for the most part!

choover82 thats for a RWD drive truck I'm pretty sure you have 4x4 correct? If so that won't work for you. The one you need is $450 or so.

bah! good point. Thought i saw somewhere it works with 4x4 too...maybe eyes playing tricks on me.

(still trying to figure out why 4x4 dont work)

4wd has torsion bars, from diff etc. 2wd has coil springs and no front diff.

Truck looks good, Im more or less interested in the control arms and the front differential drop myself. I don't want to keep going through axles. Could you post a pic of how your front axles are angles with the lift? Thanks!
